Nature has published a special report (pdf summary) on the results of its spring 2010 salary and career satisfaction survey. More than 10,500 scientists responded. Troubling results included the “two-body problem” of finding proximate positions for both members of a researcher couple and gender disparities in salary that grow over the course of men and women’s careers.
