Open Call for Volunteers
Never been to an Annual Meeting? Nervous about meeting people? Volunteering is a great way to network and get a better understanding of the inner workings of the association, plus you’ll save some money! The Student Volunteer Form is up and running for this year’s Annual Meeting. To ensure the meeting runs smoothly, AAA is looking for a limited number of students to volunteer their time and talent. We are looking for volunteers to assist in staffing booths, greeting attendees, assisting members and reporting for Anthropology News. The admission process is rolling, so the sooner you get your form in the better.
Volunteers are required to attend a training session held on Wednesday, November 18th. The time will be provided upon our acceptance of your application.
Those who volunteer for six hours or more working at booths and other onsite activities will receive free event registration to the 114th AAA Annual Meeting. By signing this application, volunteers agree to work six hours or more. Under any circumstance in which the hours are unable to be completed, the volunteer will be required to pay the event registration fee to the American Anthropological Association.
Download the Student Volunteer Form for more information! Submissions should be emailed to Andrew Russell at arussell@aaanet.org with the header “114th Annual Meeting Volunteer.” Can’t wait to see you in Denver!
